Probably a hyper sensitivity on my part. Stolen images, stories of Chinese ripoffs, etc stories are discussed almost daily by photographers and other artists. I went and looked at National Geographics contest entries and they use almost the same wording. So in context you are probably spot on.
Concern is just the rampant copying going on. Example, it is very easy for someone to typically left click and download an image from the web. Many artists disable that functionality, such as Josh, so you get blocked. When I looked at your personal site this wasn't the case.
Please understand the sensitivity and do everything you can to help reduce the exposure for artists. We can't stop technology but sometimes we can throw in a few speedbumps.
