Artists have for historically supported themselves by producing art that is
in demand by the public. They then sell that art to the public (you know
something like the way art shows operate). And this allows them to make a
living at it.
Only in the past few decades have artists been put of public welfare. And
that time is no at an end.
Do you want plays and operas? Then produce plays and operas that the public
will pay to see. If no one will pay to see some politically correct play
then the producers deserve to starve and find themselves another line of
productive work.
Right now these 'artists' are being paid to produce outrageous art that
offends the public. Most of them have no talent. So why should I pay to put
them thru art school?
