RE: [artshow_photo] First shows last weekend

Congratulations on completing your first show!

Keep the tent for a spare just in case. Or as a way to expand to a 10x20 on
shows that your neighbor doesn't show up.

Many reasons to have a cheap spare tent around (aside from the fact that
willfully returning something you intended to use once is.well, never mind,
to each his own I guess).

There was at least one other person on here who mentioned that this past
weekend was going to be their first show. How'd it go?

Ours....could've been better. We had our little First-up tent from Walmart.
We forgot to bring anything to weight it down and the wind guard I thought I
bought was actually just a screen. Thank God it wasn't windy. It actually
was a beautiful day. I think I am going to go and return the tent though and
pick up and ezup, one of the ones with walls. Once I've seen if we can
really make some money at this I'll go an upgrade the tent again.

Sales we'rent great. $125 was the entrance fee, we sold $30. Lessons were
learned, improvements will be made.

How'd everyone else do?
