Selling Stock Photography request for: High Resolution Large Format Photo material

Hi there

Maybe someone can help me out?

For several assignments I am looking for High Resolution Large Format Photo material.

I need these photos so they can be printed in high resolution on large surfaces (e.g. 5 x 6 mtr). That means file sizes from 80 mB.

And I don't mean scans which are digitally resampled or extrapolated on a larger format and size.

!

There are several options:

- you have and take photo's with a high definition digital camera back such as:

http://www.leaf-photography.com/products_aptus2.asp

- you have an archive of 4 x 5 inch, 6 x 6 inch or 4 x 6 inch transparencies (slides) which can be rescanned with high definition scanners

- you are a 2 or 3d illustrator who can create almost life like illustrations

- you have another idea how to answer this problem

If you can provide me with these and my client will select material from you, there will be a financial reward, of course!

Regards

Kees Schreuders

Art director

P.S. Please pass this message on when relevant.

Re: Selling Stock Photography Are Google getting interested in Photographers

Hugh,

Yes - they do, certainly they do.

But, try to understand why the do. Google is never doing any for nothing.

This way they can collect more data about you, better profile you, and better target you to pluck more money off you. This is called "profiling", is a powerful technique police and terrorist hunters use to capture their target, Google use the same technique to target you for money. Incidentally, this is why they were kicked out of China, China has laws to protect the individual from this illegal information gathering. It was not at all about "censorship". There are no such protections in the west as I know.  Also compare with the recent upheavals about iPhone logging the position of their targets, and companies as Microsoft, Skype, etc. do the same.

Your choice, but be aware of what you are doing, and what they are doing.

O.K. I just registered and forgive me if this has been answered. This
means I won't get emails in digest form but have to sign on the web
page?
Why did you move this Larry?

[artshow_photo] So, what would you have an interviewer ask?

Tho I have stepped back from the grind this year, I did want to do at least one show and was fortunate to have been asked to do my favorite (for the scene, vibe, the the money is OK) at Crested Butte. The last few years I have done a blog or two (Inspired in no small way by Nels and the like) to give a real view of the show, it's people, and the experience.

They liked what I did, and asked me to do a photojournalistic thing this year. And they gave me a minion to help, so it's gonna be fun to work the show from both sides of the tent.

We have all been asked questions, interviewed by the local TV, independent film makers, art students and the guy in the flowered shirt, shorts, black socks, flip up shades and the camera around his neck ( Nels incognito?). We know what not to ask (is this Photoshopped? Is this your work? What is your inspiration? Is this Photoshopped? Is this digital?Yadda, Yadda).

So help me out a bit.I need ice breakers and don't want to come off like my friend with the flip up shades.

What questions hit home with you? As a photograher I am purely, instantly emotionally wired in to what I do, as well as how I see others work. No cerebral art school interpretations to make the professor happy. I would love to her a heartfelt story, or simply directions there. If you are at Crested, a chance for immortality!

Re: [artshow_photo] New Forum

Like Connie said, yes but that's if you're using
a pay service like Constant Contact. Like I said
before, Yahoo Groups is free but very limiting.
