I have recently purchased an E-PL1 and so far really like it.

I also bought adapters to allow using Canon and Pentax lens to be used
on the E-PL1. Here's a few images taken with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens.

I'm not sure how the PEN cameras compare to a Olympus DSLR camera (I
mainly shoot Canon DSLR's), but I'm happy to carry the E-PL1 on a
daily basis instead of my normal 30 pound DSLR kit.
