Crazy guy thinking out loud here!
This 1st year a lot of my work was 20x30 prints in cheapo Micheal poster frames. Charged $100 and they did well. I also had 20x30 gallery wrapped prints that did not go as well but for the fairs I was in were over priced. I sold a few but $250 to $300 is a lot for "craft" fairs.
However - canvas looks SO much better then prints and I'll be in more expensive "Art" fairs next year.
So - (tell me if this is crazy) I thought I would put all of my good work that sells onto canvas. Then in the middle of the canopy I would have a LARGE 20x30 framed flippy bin. Sort of a "W" style with frames on each side (this would help with balance). Draw people in with the canvas and if they can not afford $275 or whatever, they can scale down to $100 framed OR - go lower to the $20 8x12.
DO my questions are
1. is the entire concept is ludicrous?
2. if #1 is NO are there plans or pre made things for large scale flippy bins?
