I am friends with one of the best singer/songwriters that (in my opinion) this
world has ever heard. When I was first "exposed" to her, I was fascinated with
her "I-am-just-like-you" with everyone. She's NEVER displayed a single solitary
bit of attitude or ego, yet she would have every "right" to (figuratively
speaking because no one ever should). I vowed then that is the model I choose
for myself. I hope that if any of us get to meet and you meet me and you get to
know me and you ever believe I am displaying arrogance or attitude, that you
will personally commit to keeping me in check!
