[artshow_photo] Re: Online shopping carts (Was - Anyone using and making sales using Etsy.com?)

 

I looked into Etsy and 1000 Markets (which I believe is still free except for commissions on sales) before I finally decided I wanted to do it on my own website. I chose JAlbum which has a Paypal plugin. If you aren't that techy you might need someone to get you going with JAlbum. JAlbum the product is free. Unlike the album program I used before, nothing is required on the server for JAlbum -- you create the pages on your desktop and then upload them. There are advantages either way...

At least if I'm not selling, I'm not paying anyone!

I think either way you have to do the selling work to attract people to your website.
