Remember - many of the long time pro's here are looking at past results and comparing them to current results and see doom and gloom.
New people such as I have no previous experience and thus have no clue how good it USED to be.
It's like some people have been eating gourmet food for 10 years and now are forced to eat macaroni and cheese. While new people have been eating milk toast and see macaroni and cheese as something WONDERFUL.
So take their comments as constructive (the anti-flea market thing for instance) but don't let them discourage you with doom and gloom. If you have something unique and wonderful there are plenty of people with money looking for Art.
Don't be discouraged but do be realistic.
