I think booth fees depend on the type and caliber of show. Higher end juried shows tend to be more expensive. Those located in wealthier areas will be even more expensive. Local shows, and looser juried shows tend to be cheaper. Indoor shows are traditionally more expensive.
Of the 15 or so shows I do each year, my cheapest booth fee is $100, and my most expensive is $675.
The other "registration fee" to consider is the application/jury fee. This fee, from private application shows, still hovers from $15-$25. However, when you deal with the fine folks at Zapplication, you'll note that they have taken it upon themselves to double this appl/jury fee to $30-$50 per show.
