Etsy could have been a great site if it can be more like eBay in a few areas:
- Implement a better item catalog and a more sophisticated search engine, like eBay's. With Etsy's extremely crude catalog and search engine, it is impossible for a buyer to find what they are looking for.
- The feedback, review, comment can also be more like eBay's. Etsy's tell little about what items they are about, etc.
Are these eBay features patented? I think not.
