There's nothing wrong with a post about ebates. But it's not proper
forum etiquette to post affiliate links. If the original post had
been made to DPReview, the poster would have been banned for a week.
I was banned once for posting a link to the page on the resource web
site with credit card processing information because it was inferred
that I would have received compensation, even though I don't.
