OH, now I agree that some have earned their ego.  But, BEING that "great" and
displaying it through ego is two different things.  Rarely is someone who
displays an ego looked to with any kind of repect or admiration.  Looking down
one's nose gives a very cross-eyed point of view!  I probably shouldn't name
names, but I introduced myself to Martin Pothier (a GREAT photographer and image
printer in my opinion) and, as much as other artists at a show I was at stated
that he wouldn't give me the time of day; I found him to be very personable, he
talked about successes of shows and shooting for fine art photography and, all
in all, I really enjoyed his compay!
