See this page and click on Price Tag at the bottom. I have these printed
just like business cards; they contain all the information that someone
might want about me, but also the piece info. As for how to hang them, you
can get a bunch of cheap clear plastic card holders at the office store,
slap a dot of Velcro on the back and hang them on your panels right beside
the piece.
If you design the price tag with a little "frame", they look nice enough; I
write the info of the piece neatly with black Sharpie. On glass framed
pieces I insert the card into the front corner just prior to tightening the
glass. I lose some during travel but rarely; they usually stay put. The
canvas pieces you talk about could have the holders I mentioned stuck to
your display right beside them. If you put a few price tags in there instead
of just one, people that are very interested can be encouraged to take one
with them.
Just one way to do it, anyway,
Maria

Subject: Re: [artshow_photo] Pricing tag problem
But what are you using for price tags - I wanted started using the back of
business cards but man it looks ugly! Pricing every work on the lower right
just looks so awful. Maybe a small DOT with a price?
