I am using one daily. The Epson 4990 Photo. It's no longer available new
but you probably can find one on Ebay.
It's an exceptional scanner and the Epson software is not bad. I am
scanning archived slides eight at a time. In testing
the files I can get very good 8x10 prints from the files. Acceptable for my
purposes.
