Good stuff in here for the US -- anyone have something similar for Canada?
The laws are different from country to country...

If you would like to know your rights as a photographer, go to the
following website:
<http://www.krages.com/bpkphoto.htm> http://www.krages.com/bpkphoto.htm
On the right side, you will find a link to download a PDF file that
explains your rights as a photographer when out shooting.
This website has been around for quite some time. The owner is an attorney
that appears to specialize in IP cases, and has some good advice there for
those interested in knowing what is and is not allowed as far as your
creative operations goes.
