Hi guys -- love my iPad. I do use an antiglare screen protector, but
it was impossible to get it on without dust underneath. It cuts the
glare considerably though. When I've got a little downtime, I'm going
to take it off, wash it and reinstall. According to the instructions,
it's washable.

I bought my iPad for two reasons: the Filemaker integration, which
saves me a ton of paper; and the ability to display much more work
than I can hang on the walls and place in the bins. Josh, it's great
that you've sold work from the iPad. I haven't had mine at enough
shows to test the waters there yet.

Apps that I've found useful:

FileMaker Go -- I use this to port my full inventory database to the
iPad. It does everything that the FileMaker database can do. The only
downside is that there is no wireless sync, at least not yet. That
means that changes made on the iPad must be synced back to the
mothership using the cable and iTunes, similar to other apps that can
copy data to and from the iPad. It's pricey too, at $40.

MyRadar -- a great weather app, that does nothing but display radar.
WeatherBug, Wundermap (weatherunderground.com) are more full-featured
weather apps, with forecasts and the ability to display radar, IR
(Cloud satellite) and severe weather alerts. All are location based,
so they can find your current spot and display radar based on where
you are. Wundermap can show either street view, satellite (topography)
or hybrid -- it gets its map from Google Maps. WunderMap is my
favorite, and less buggy than WeatherBug. MyRadar loads the fastest.

BeatTheTraffic - GPS enabled traffic reports. Decent, similar to the
traffic maps in the iPhone map app. For some reason, the map app on
the iPad does not display traffic alerts. BeatTheTraffic has the
ability to show not only traffic tie-ups but construction delays. I've
only used once as it's too clunky to fit on the dash while driving.
The iphone is much better at navigation, as you can get dash or window
mounts for it, just like a regular auto GPS.

FocalWare -- best sun/moon ephemeris out there. Spendy, at $10, but
works anywhere, even without a cell signal. It uses the GPS radio
reciever to triangulate your position on both iPhone and iPad. Only
downside to FocalWare on iPad: it has not been optimized to HD, so
actual size is half resolution on the iPad. You can use the 2X button
to blow it up, but that ain't nearly as nice as full HD rez. Google
Earth runs well on the iPad, too.

Social is about as good a dedicated interface to Facebook as you can
get without using the web browser. If you post to your FB page a lot,
it's nice to have a direct link. Much better than the real FB app on
iPhone. And the iPhone browser implementation really sucks.

WordPress for iPhone and iPad lets you update your blog without your
laptop. Useful for those who blog.

Drawing Apps -- Penultimate is a great little journal, that lets you
use your finger or a stylus to sketch or take notes in multiple
journals. SketchBook, by Autodesk, is a Photoshop-like drawing app,
with many brushes, including a mirror mode which is a lot of fun.
SketchBook includes layers, and you can import photographs to sketch
over. Unfortunately, SB doesn't have the Photoshop like control to let
you edit photos. You can use PhotoGene for that. Adobe's free Adobe
Ideas is a pared down SketchBook.

And don't forget Angry Birds. If you haven't played it, you might
enjoy giving this addictive little game a try.
