PHEW!!! Two shows in two weekends as my first-ever outting! Last weekend was
Edom Festival of The Arts: weather was fantastic, though on the very warm and
sunny side; yesterday was Texas Country Reporter Festival: cloudy one-day show
and off and on rains all day--including a frog strangler at the end of the day
about an hour before scheduled end time. The Texas Country Reporter Festival
was a very mixed show, with fine art and other stuff--crowd was HUGE. Ended up
in ankle-deep water to pack up and, was actually glad for that because it let me
experience the worst and tells me I am ready for it, if it happens again.
Both shows were money-makers, I thoroughly enjoyed them both and got to see some
same-people at both shows. In fact, some people who were at Edom Festival of
The Arts and didn't purchase there, purchased at Texas Country Reporter
Festival.
Now, off to see what I might be able to still apply for next year into Spring...
