Yep, that works just dandy!
Method 1:
Just grab right corner and fold over toward the middle, grab left corner and
fold toward middle, now you have "an envelope". You don't have to fold all
the way to the middle, I found that folding so I have a shoulder-width
middle to work with is perfect for me. Then roll up from the middle and
watch so the far edges don't get wrinkled and funky.
If you are short like me, it's a challenge to hold the "roll" up while you
climb the step ladder but I'm sure my neighbors get some entertainment out
of my troubles.
Method 2:
This makes a neater roll and you won't get crease marks on your walls but it
takes longer. You need two or three spring clamps depending on your "wing
span". Roll up one end about three or four end-over-rolls, clamp, roll up
the other end, clamp, keep working your way up until you can strap up and
you will have the absolutely neatest roll in the whole row.
Incidentally, I tried the pole method and it was just one more pole and one
more pain in the rear. I know an artist that actually sewed thin pvc pipe to
the bottom of her walls and she can roll em up in no time. She rolls her
walls to tear down instead of folding them.

Well, that sounds like a great solution! I am on my way out to Richardson
this
afternoon to go see Cottonwood Art Festival--maybe I'll find Josh T or
others in
this group!

I've seen artists fold the ends of the wall over like an envelope and
roll it up from the middle.
