What a lot of people don't know is that Enterprise takes trade-ins from
people who buy their rental fleet vehicles. Then they sell the trade-ins.
So it is possible to get a vehicle from Enterprise that has never been part
of a rental fleet. I got my van from them and it was a trade-in on one of
their cargo vans. I found it online. The Carmax report was free. I called
on Friday and on Sunday they delivered the van to me from Ft. Myers 4 hours
away. I took it to Sears on Monday and had it checked over. They found
some things that needed to be fixed for about $600 and Enterprise picked up
the tab. I did a show with it on the following Friday. It was a much
better experience than buying from a used car dealer or private seller. I
also had a certain amount of time to cancel the sale if I wasn't happy with
the van.

Subject: Re: [artshow_photo] Recommended Mini Van?
I personally would never ever buy a car that had been part of a rental
fleet. I spent 8 years on the road, that is in airplanes, rental cars, and
hotels. Rental cars are beat on IMHO. Usually if the car had more than 15K
miles it was shot already.
