[artshow_photo] Backing for a simple Matted print.

I am in process of matting for the first time. I am donating a matted print to a local Hospice group for a silent auction, in an attempt to get my name 'out there'.

I think I am good on how to mat, but what do I use on the back of the mat? Foam board? And then they would not be able to frame if desired.
