First, thank you for your nice comments about GalleryPouch. I respect your decision not to have a Facebook account. The reason why Frame Destination is using Facebook is because of the fact that so many people are using it, and it allows for communication in a way similar to this forum, but with the added benefit of notifying a person's friends that they "Like" something, which is a nice way of sharing info. I am careful about what photos and text I post to Facebook, and I treat it like an open forum.
I've looked over Facebook's Privacy Policy and they do a good job of letting people know how and what info is being shared (and how to limit it via privacy settings):

That being said, I'm very careful about the Facebook applications I install.
