[artshow_photo] Signature on Canvas

I just started having images printed on canvas and I did not include a my digital signature on the canvas.

My question is do you normally add the signature as part of the printing process or sign the finished canvas by hand?

If I have to sign by hand what type of pen should I use? I use a fine point Sharpie Silver Paint Marker for colored mats. Will this work or will it be bad on a canvas surface?
