[artshow_photo] why don't shows update Zapp so you can pay booth fee?

Why is it that many shows will send a notice of acceptance via e-mail and then it takes forever for them to update Zapp to "accepted" status, so one can pay the booth fee ?  And some shows don't give a phone number to reach a live person . . . and they don't respond to e-mails?

Thanks to all for the input. Got down to the local arts store and bought a couple of different types.

Pilot Silver/Gold Marker Extra Fine Pt - Nice point, not the rounded tip like a sharpie. Excellent on canvas for smoothness.

Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen - typical sharpie like tip, rounded, but at 1.5mm very nice. About 2x the width of the Pilot.

Sharpie Metallic - bought one of these also and it is a bit wider than the Pitt but looks like it would be prone to dropping a bit to much ink at times.

Saw and tried the Brush pens and agree that would take some getting used to. It really is a small brush.

And finally saw the Krylon 24K leaf on the wall and at triple the price took a pass.

So I'm going to use the Pilot for awhile for my mid size prints and the Pitt for the larger canvases.
