RE: [artshow_photo] Exposing ink jets prints to direct sun light

I generally print backups of my more popular prints so that I don't have to
worry about printing / drying in addition to framing in between shows. Some
of mine have dried for a month or more and they still will fog when exposed
to direct sunlight. I try and catch it and move the print so it doesn't
stay long but I've never had any damage.

How do you dry the prints before framing? You want all of the glycols to be
given off before you frame. Otherwise, they will eventually coat the inside
of the glass. To prevent this, you either need to dry the prints on screen
for quite awhile, as in a week or more, or you need to blow dry the prints.
When doing the latter, you can actually feel when the glycols have been
driven out of the print.
