Do you only have one computer?
The reason I ask is that I have additional computers for specific
purposes. I have my old XP computer set up just for scanning. It has
two older versions of Photoshop and is connected to four scanners.
And my laptop for e-mail and web browsing. When I want to make a copy
of a backup drive, I connect the two drives to my scanning computer
so it doesn't matter how long it takes.
