Hi Jerry,
There are adapters that are made that allow Leica R lenses to be used for
the Canon EOS and the Nikon autofocus SLR systems. You can check as to
which cameras and adapters work best.
I have a Panasonic adapter for my Panasonic G1 camera. The lenses actually
cover more than the Micro 4:3 format and I have to try this out.
The Leica lenses will obviously only work in manual focus with these
systems. Depending upon the system and lens there may be magnification. As
an example with my Leica R lenses and the Panasonic adapter all of the focal
lengths are doubled.
But, with these adapters you can use your wonderful Leica glass.
