Re: [artshow_photo] New Mac Computer

If you want to save money you should use one of the i macs. If you can afforded
get the 27 inch. The most ram the better. I have a 21 and work well for me but I
wanted the 27 but could not get the money for it. If you own your adobe system
Adobe will upgrade and change to the mac version for you. I will use the i work
instead of the ms office. It does the same and is a lot more economical.

One more thing look at the Refurbished Mac first.

Subject: [artshow_photo] New Mac Computer

I think I'm finally going to jettison my PC and move over to a Mac. But I'm
clueless about the best configuration and need your advice.

I will need to run Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, as well as monitor
calibration software (recommendations on this are welcome as well because I'm
currently using an outdated product that only works on my PC). Also MS Office
suite and maybe a video editing software. What do you recommend? I don't want to
spend this much money and then discover that I didn't get enough horsepower,
etc.

Thanks,
Sarah
