Re: [artshow_photo] Online Storage?

I use Smugmug as a gallery site and have been very happy. I also tried Mozy
several years ago along with a writer for Business Week as an editorial
test,
Once you get everything uploaded it works fairly easy but after several
months of uploading I still was less than half way done and decided to
terminate the project.
The problem is upload speed with any amount of data. Some of these sites
will allow you to send your archieves in via TB Harddrives and then add new
material via
the internet. That might be the best solution.
My guide and guru is Peter Krough. His book The DAM Book is a good starting
point for Asset Management and backing up. For now I use a Theraltake tray
and 2 TB drives controlled by Acronis. In an emergency I can grab these
drives and run.
