RE: [artshow_photo] Suggestions for good wide angle Canon lens

the 15mm fisheye is pretty good. It's about $630. Consider the 50D has a crop sensor it will act more like a wide angle than a fisheye.

my husband says he'd like to get me a new lens for my Canon [50D] for
my birthday and of course I didn't want to dissuade him, but neither
he nor I know which might be best = I'll probably be doing more
landscapes in the future as well = right now I use a Canon 24-105 and
really love it and use it for everything just fine, but for those
special shots I suppose a good alternative is fine. Suggestions?
