The problem, of course, is not that it costs something but that it is unlikely to be a good investment and to be successful at selling stock photography you have to make good business decisions.
I never really looked at the product but if it were $4.95 for a year it might be a good investment even if all you got was a listing on a well ranked website. On the other hand if it's a spam website it may hurt to have a listing. Better to stick with products and services that at least appear legitimate and this one smells a lot like Spam, which is kinda tasty but not very good for you. ;-)
