Personally I can't stand the term giclee. More so the sound of the word than when its in writing...haha...
Anyway, I always avoid the term, it sometimes confuses people. If I have to explain how a photo canvas is made I always just say they are printed with high quality inkjet printers using archival inks....or something along those lines.
I am referring to original photographs though, not paintings.
