I don't even want to call my prints giclee. Most people don't know what it means anyway, and I prefer that people speak English in these United States. If they like the photograph, they like it. I use both film and digital, and I don't often need to explain which is which to people.

She asked what that was and I explained they were inkjet prints made using a special set of B&W inks. She turned up her nose and said something derogatory when she heard inkjet. I said I noticed some giclee prints and I asked her if she knew how they were done. She said no. I explained giclee was simply another name for inkjet. I left her standing there with a look of disappointment.
