also to be considered is medical emergency at show time.

I paid $550 for the July, 2010 Plymouth MI event. Just days before show
time, I had a heart attack, which required emergency hospitalization and
surgery. I was hospitalized at the time of the show.

They flatly refused refunding me and pocketed my $550.

Omaha was very gracious and did refund my booth fees. I thank them for their
consideration. Great people in Omaha.

The longer you are able to hold on to your money the better. What if the
show is cancelled next week? Then you have to wait for them to refund your
money. I understand your point, balance your checkbook and all is well.
