I walked into a gallery and noticed some giclee prints on the wall. An employee approached me and we were chatting and I mentioned I did some photography and I did carbon pigment ink prints. She asked what that was and I explained they were inkjet prints made using a special set of B&W inks. She turned up her nose and said something derogatory when she heard inkjet. I said I noticed some giclee prints and I asked her if she knew how they were done. She said no. I explained giclee was simply another name for inkjet. I left her standing there with a look of disappointment.
