It gets confusing. There are at least three distinctly different kinds
of Gatorfoam, not to mention the many similar boards made by other
companies. To complicate things further, I understand that Gatorfoam was
sold by International Paper and is now being made in South America. It
could be better or worse, but it's certainly a moving target. We have a
hard enough time keeping track of what's in our food supply these days.
If we can't be sure about baby food, what can be said of foam boards or
even alpha mat? The stuff that tested well last year will probably come
from other sources next year.
