Out of all of these, Shutterstock is the only one where I've actually had any photos downloaded. I'm wondering what experience(s) other people here have had; which sites have given them the best results for downloads once the photos are accepted, etc. Thanks.

I went to Shutterstock and Bigstock and couldn't find your pictures doing a search under your name. Hard to pass an opinion if we can't see some of your work. I did look at pictures on http://nobodyhikesinla.com/ if these are the pictures or similar pictures to what you are trying to market, my opinion is that they are far to pedestrian to market successfully.
If you have links to more of your work I and others on the group could take a look at we might be of more help/
