If you put your copyright information on the edge of the photo, it can
then be cropped out. By saying that the photos are only small sizes,
and not good for anything aboe a 4X6 images is not totally correct. I
can take a <50k sized image and enlarge it to get big enough to print as
large a photo as I would need. I am sure that the thieves have a much
better program and can do it much faster than I can.

Then someone asks "how many photos of yours have been stolen?" Until
I find my photo displayed somewhere I would not know that it is stolen.
I might never see it.

Because I do not find a stolen photo still does not give anyone the
right to use it.

Plus if my small <50k photo is downloaded and used in a slide show, they
only need small images for slide show. It still does not give them the
right to use my photo without permission.

So the best and not necessarily the only chance you have to protect your
photo, is to put the watermark across the middle of it. If you want to
see the original, you can contact me and I will gladly show it to anyone
at my studio.
