I recommend, and use, 2 mil plastic bags. They're ideal for bagging note cards, prints, mats, even framed work. Uline has a very large assortment of sizes. Figure out what sizes you will want - sometimes one size can work for two or more different size items. For small items (11x14 and under) I bought some nice black bags from Uline with cutout handles. Easy to carry.
