Been following this thread, especially those who mention monitors. As it turns out, I am about to invest in a new MacPro 8-core. (My trusty G4 of 10 years is still going strong, but lacking the Intel chip, I am limited on software updates, not to mention my 1.8 single processor is very slow crunching my ever-larger psd files (some 2gb+).
I am considering the new Apple 27" LED Cinema monitor, but at a cost of nearly $1000, I am not yet fully convinced that this is my best investment for image editing.
Would appreciate knowledgeable opinions of other high end image-editing monitors (22"-30") available today, especially compared to the new 27" LED Apple.
