[artshow_photo] Re: Printing Prints

Exact, MEGA DITTOS, on Terry's approach. I have nearly the same setup for my Epson 9900. Eizo for critical work and an Apple Cinema for everything else. Imageprint so I don't have to make profiles. As a benefit I think the IP profiles and product reduces my ink cost. Example I use myepsonprinter.com for monitoring my print output. A 2'x5' Lexjet Metallic print used 17.67ml of ink. Using the default price for ink, basically Epson list prices, it calculated $8.04 in ink. So 80 cents per square foot. That is probably closer to 60 cents based on what I pay for ink.

So as Terry outlined the combination of a 3880/4900/7900/9900 depending on your output needs with Imageprint, Colormunki for the monitor, a good quality monitor will give you much greater control, if that's what you want.
