Yes. If you own Photokit Sharpener (co-authored by Jeff Schewe, who you mentioned, and was Bruce's partner prior to his untimely death) you have your choice of Capture Sharpening devices, either thru ACR, LR, or Photokit. I too, choose to capture sharpen in ACR, then use Photokit for Creative and Output sharpening.
Photokit Output sharpening also provides auto sharpening for other needs too, such as continuous tone printing and web presentation, all of which require a different amount of final sharpening.
The very young, and super talented landscape photographer, Marc Adamus, has devised his own web sharpening technique, which he explains on the Nature Photographers Network. I use his technique for all my web images - as it works, and it's simple.
