And there is the problem - people feel wrongly cautious. Not saying they should throw caution to the wind but corporations are BURSTING with profits - companies are hiring back people (back) right and left. Dollar General just said they are hiring 6000 people this year.
The only thing holding the economy from a REAL burst is unemployment but that is not uncommon at all and is right on track with how America has come out of deep recessions in the past!
But you are correct Lee, it's this subconscious doom and gloom that is holding people back.
