Re: [artshow_photo] Mesh Panel Walls

I used mesh panels for years before I bought a trailer and had the room for a pro panel setup. They are lightweight, store and set up easily (especially if you are a one man band). I did by the grey "curtains" (not sure what they call 'em) which velcro to the panels and make a nice contrasting back ground for the work.
The work hangs best by using drapery hooks (don't by the ones sold by Flourish, they are light weight and bend easily). Hardware store sells all sorts of versions.
There are times I wish I still used the mesh set ups, pro panels can be a major pain in the ass on unlevel ground, or trying to set up by your lonesome during high winds.
Still have two complete sets (including the curtains) back at my storage place near Chicago. Need to get rid of at least one set one of these days.

Hi all,

Okay, almost ready to buy my Trimline tent. What is your opinion
about the mesh panels? For indoor shows, I am using Graphic Display
Panels with black coverings (since my work looks best on black). For
the tent, I was thinking about the mesh panels, so that I can save room
in my truck when traveling (I have a Rav 4 and it's jammed packed right
now).

Do the mesh panels replace the outside walls of the tent? Are they
worth the price?

Dougie
