My I-Pad is 3G, and the app works fine. I'm already paying $25/month for
the 3G service in general. Depending on how much you use the 3G though, you
might be able to get away with a cheaper plan (for the I-Pad anyway). I
understand what your saying. Prior to getting the I-Pad, I looked into the
smartphone data service and couldn't justify the cost either. $35 for the
phone service plus another $35 or so for the data service! I don't use my
cell phone enough to justify that cost.
