Yeah, this is the one I have. Don't do it! It is "tippy," uncomfortable
and doesn't rest properly even on level ground (and how often to we see
level ground at an art fair?!) I agree that it is important to be on
eye-level with the customers, so I usually end up standing because this
chair is so uncomfortable. The back is perpendicular to the arms, which
means that I can't lean back at all, so I constantly feel like my weight is
pitched forward and I'm going to fall out. I only weigh about 100 lbs; I
can't imagine how a larger person could sit comfortably in this chair.
I think the Pier One tall chairs are more comfortable and more stable than
this one, for less money. I would recommend getting one of those until you
can afford a really good tall chair.
