Thanks for the comments, Mary Anne.

1) I like the idea of the blog/facebook opening to another tab/page.
2) I made the prominence level of the links to be minor. The major
focus is 1) Studio name, 2) paintings, 3) Links
3) I kept the external links on the main bar due to my own personal
design idea. I hate having to look around a web page to find
everything. One of the things that annoys me about most web pages is
that it's hard to figure out where things are.
4) I'm still toying with the idea for the text on the site. Yeah, I
still need to add my meta-tags, etc.
5) I used the Facebook advertising, but found that I got more people
signed up for my fan page by having a monthly-drawing.
