I use my 3800 to print all documents now.  The only problem I have is forgetting to change the default paper type and I end up with a memo printed to enhanced matte specs.  Or worse, switching to glossy ink.

My limited space does not permit using more than one printer. Furthermore, I need to print not only photography, but also memoranda, letters, etc. I have heard that the Epson 3800, 4800 series does very poorly printing letters and such. Is this true? If not, what settings does one use to print ordinary 8.5x11 black and white documents on ordinary paper?
