[artshow_photo] Re: Art Show Police - Art on the Square-Belleville

Speaking of art show police. . .

I applied to Art on the Square, Belleville, Illinois, and they have a 2d
"Reproduction" Policy of 250, which they don't tell you about until you
have already submitted your images (I specifically looked for it). . .

Does anyone know if they put photographs in their 2D reproduction
category? I don't think they should, but I didn't write their rules or
know their true intent. Their application does state they will bring
around your jury images to check your booth.

I've applied for another show that does spell out a limited edition
policy for Photographers of 500, so I'm wrestling with the idea / cost
of creating a new limited edition series (250) of images if I get in.
Obviously if I get in 2 or 3 shows with this requirement, it would be
worth it.Currently none of my other shows do.
