[artshow_photo] Re: Facebook pictures issues

I had heard FB was going to implement this; sorry I didn't share it with the forum. I don't know what the cutoff is but I keep my FB images around 600 pixels on the long side with a watermark. That seems to be enough to tease collectors. And, of course, when outputting in LR use something like 70% and output sRGB color space and use standard sharpening. That'll keep sizes down and keep everything looking nice. Someone on this forum, I can't remember who, had implemented an interesting way to sell images on facebook. Perhaps it was through photomoto or some similar plug-in....

Also, we all need to be wary of third party apps on facebook. Some of the policies allow for the use of photos without permission - or, it's written into their use policies. Be careful with facebook; I wouldn't upload anything greater than 600 pixels.
